Lute FP They tag this as reggae, but it really isn’t. Sure, it has a reggae backbone, but it doesn’t suffer the typicall pitfalls of most reggae- that being, too redundant in sound and song structure.

The vocals are sublime, the music changes enough to stay interesting, and the reggae undercurrent keeps things mellow and groovy. Frankly, this reminds me more of music coming out of Brazil and Portugal than anything from the Caribbean. And yet, these guys hail from Mexico, being in fact none of the above.
